Getting there
It is at Su00fctlu00fcce in Beyou011flu, on the north bank of the Golden Horn. A ferry up the Golden Horn is the pleasant way to arrive; buses and taxis are quicker.
How long to allow
An hour and a half to two hours to walk the full circuit. It is outdoors, so pick a dry day and bring a hat in summer u2014 there is little shade.

Models are grouped by region and cover sites from across Turkey plus a handful from the former Ottoman territories, so you can see Ephesus and Gu00f6beklitepe without leaving Istanbul.
It opened in 2003 under the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and the models are detailed enough to reward a slow walk rather than a lap.
