It was built to replace the cluster of broadcast masts that used to litter the hill, so it does a real job as well as being a viewpoint.

Getting there
It is on the Asian side, above u00dcsku00fcdar. Take a ferry to u00dcsku00fcdar and then a short taxi or bus up the hill u2014 about 15 minutes. Combining it with Maiden's Tower and a walk along the u00dcsku00fcdar waterfront makes a straightforward half-day.
How long to allow
About an hour for the deck itself. There is a restaurant on the upper floors and shops below, so you can easily make an afternoon of it.
